Closing up the Shop for the Night

  2. Check the floor in each warehouse for boxes, wrappings, and other trash. Make sure to flatten any boxes to conserve space before putting them in the “cardboard” dumpster.

Sweeping

  1. Grab the floor broom and sweep the areas need it.

Securing non-received Orders

  1. Walk to the front of the warehouse outside.
  2. Move any and all items on the ground into the receiving bay. This will keep the orders secure and dry overnight.

Securing Tools

  1. Put away all the tools that you may have had out and been working with today.
  2. Drive the forklift inside the warehouse.
  3. Check and lock the fuel tanks.
  4. Check and lock any/all trucks/mini vans/etc.
  5. Check vehicles for keys and bring them inside, place them on the key board in the time room.

Lights & Radio

  1. Turn off any lights that are not on auto motion sensing switches.
  2. Turn off any and all radios.

Locking Doors

  1. Roll down the roll-up doors.
  2. lock all man doors.
  3. If there is an alarm system activate it prior to leaving for the night.
